Christmas recipes

Christmas is all about celebrating the season with family and loved ones. This is often done around a tree, with gifts — and, of course, with FOOD! One of our favorite options for the main course is our prime rib with horseradish cream, or if you are looking for something that’s a little simpler, this brown sugar and bourbon slow cooker spiral ham is a great option!

Delicious side dishes we love include cheesy holiday potatoes and a refreshing cauliflower salad with lemon tahini dressing that is guaranteed to become a new holiday favorite.

Don’t forget about the night before, though! Our Christmas Eve salad is the perfect light meal before the big day — or a great option before you start digging into all those Christmas cookies.

food & hostess gifts

Looking for a cute gift idea you can take with you on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day to say ‘thank you’ to your host? Or maybe you are looking for a homemade gift idea you can give to your family or friends. No matter what you seek, you have come to the right place!

Which are our favorites? The sea salt caramels would have to be the number one! Who doesn’t love caramel — and it’s always a great gift during the holidays.

Looking for something cute but easy to make? Check out the hot cocoa shots. Kids (and adults) of all ages drink hot chocolate, and when it’s packaged so sweetly, it can be perfectly giftworthy.

Merry Christmas crafts

There is no better holiday for making your own crafts and decorations than Christmas. The options are endless, and creating your own homemade decorations are guaranteed to bring your family and friends together.

With our hanging kissing ball decoration, you can do away with looking for mistletoe and figuring out where to hang it. You can make the kissing ball and add custom ribbons and other decorations to make it perfectly unique!

The homemade glass ornament is also a wonderful idea — plus it is a craft kids can make, too! As a bonus, this ornament can be personalized and given as a gift.

Looking for a cute festive pinecone craft? We have these adorable pinecone trees that are simple to make, and will help create a frosty winter wonderland in your home.

Creative Christmas cookies

Christmas and cookies go hand in hand. Tables are filled with various cookies at your holiday gathering, friends and relatives will give plates of cookies as gifts every year. There are even cookie swaps and parties held where everyone bakes their favorite cookies to share with each other.

We love Christmas cookies, especially these recipes! We have three traditional, family favorite Christmas cookies that may well transport you back to your childhood.

The sugar cookie is a classic, and these cut out sugar cookies with royal icing not only taste delicious, but are also a beautiful addition to your cookie tray. Then, for a treat has festivity twirled into it, these candy cane cookies are a perfect addition to the Christmas cookie platter.

“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow,
stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so?
It came without ribbons. It came without tags.
It came without packages, boxes or bags.
And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore.
Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before.
What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store.
What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”
Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
