The quality of being thankful;
readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

It’s what we do, not just what we say.

Gratitude isn’t just a feeling – it is (or should be) an action. But it’s not always easy to find ways to show your gratitude – heck, in today’s crazy world, it’s easier to forget what you’re grateful for. That’s why Gratitude Central is here – to help you consciously reconnect with your friends and family, to remind you of how lucky we all our to have this life, and to encourage you to live your greatest life.

Every week in Gratitude Central, we’ll bring you new dinner & a movie night ideas – some will be family-friendly like Star Wars, Frozen and Toy Story, while others will be for adults only (bottles of wine are not required for these nights, but highly recommended). We’ll share stories and first-person roundups from real-life people, breast cancer survivors, and families from different walks of life that highlight obstacles many of us face. And overall, we’ll strive to give you a surge of inspiration and mindfulness when life begins to feel a little too routine.

So, what are you waiting for? Jump right in. Check out our family-friendly crafts or discover new games that will help you reconnect with your partner. Print out coloring pages for your kids or get ideas for throwing a single girls’ night in. And be sure to check back every week for new content. We’re grateful for you.

Dinner & a movie ideas

When it comes to staying in, dinner and a movie nights are great ways to get everyone excited to put their phones and tablets down and enjoy the company around them. There are so many movie-themed recipes you can make — like our Frozen snow cap punch, “Chewy” caramel popcorn (that’s for a Star Wars night, if you didn’t get the reference), or our fairy godmother cocktail (for the adults, of course).

Planning to cook dinner and watch a movie with a new significant other? We totally have you covered. Take a look at our Dinner & a movie date ideas for couples at every relationship stage!

For more nostalgic dinner & a movie nights, we’ve got full menus for  Practical magicE.T., and Beetlejuice.
